Constructed from 12-gauge 100% Made In The USA steel, it’s up to 30% more durable against foreign competitors. This shovel comes in a variety of handles, including one made from high-quality fiberglass that’s coated in a polyester veil to prevent splintering and increase strength, or the choice of true American hardwood. It also features a variety of grips including a D-shaped polypropylene grip with a no-slip texture, designed to increase leverage and reduce hand fatigue while wide enough to accommodate work gloves, or a rubber grip to provide maximum comfort and to decrease hand fatigue despite all that digging. Amazing trench shovel I used to grade very rocky soil. I was able to wedge lift very heavy stones in the soil 10 inches down. This shovel definitely succeeded where I’ve cracked handles on other shovels in the same circumstances in the past. Needless to say I was very pleased with this shovel’s performance, not even a ding on the steel!
