This fork is fantastic! It digs with the sturdiness of a shovel, but with the spacing of a fork. I have another fork- “F” brand, and the tines bent when I was digging up irises, and there was a good-sized rock underground. This fork–same yard, different area, same rocks underneath–no problem. This fork is strong. Great area to place your foot for digging. Only recommendation is to spray handle shaft with several light coats of polyurethane to seal the fiberglass. It arrived and I felt a few splinters in my hands just from opening the package. Sprayed it before first use–no fiberglass splinters. No gloves needed.
I would recommend this fork to any person needing this type of tool. It is the right tool for the job. Overbuilt? Nope. Built as it should be–to last a long time. Not to be disposable.
Other fork was replaced due to lifetime warranty, but its only strong enough for a garden, not for deep flower beds, or hedge areas.

This fork is a beast! Currently using it to aerate and dig out rocks of my garden. Some of the clay hardpan here requires me to step entirely on the fork to sink it through but its working great. Im using this tool to add aeration holes and find the rocks before broadforking the area.
