Let me say this is a great trenching shovel. (It is the right width for me and that is just the same width as the blade on my trencher machine). It is made by smart people that understand tools and how they are to be used. From the fiberglass handle to the metal blade, it is strong. The blade is bent in a ‘V’ shape that allows dirt to be scooped out in quantities I am not used to. I am a landscaper and appreciate a great tool that practically does the work for you. This shovel trenches well, as it lifts soil out effectively, and it seems capable of prying small rocks unlike ones that usually break really easily.
