Description
The best rake for any serious yard and garden job, our Bow Rake can handle anything from dirt, to mulch, to rocks. The Bow Rake is an essential tool for all gardens because of its versatility: smoothing soil, breaking up dirt, raking debris, leveling mulch, moving rocks, and much more. Its heavy-duty construction with ribbed teeth and reinforced ridges makes it possible for you to break up even the most compacted soil. Its specially designed rake-head indentations help you scoop more material with each individual tine. Since the head is welded to the handle and the steel components are over-welded, the Bow Rake won’t separate no matter how tough your garden project—no simple wood-handled big-box rake can boast that. This might be the last bow rake you will ever need to buy. Constructed with heavy duty 10-gauge 100% Made In The USA steel, it’s up to 30% more durable than foreign competitors, and the handle is made from high quality fiberglass and coated in a polyester veil to prevent splintering and increase strength, plus a rubber grip to for the most comfort handle while on the job. The Bully Tools 16″ Bow Rake with Fiberglass Handle comes with a limited lifetime warranty that protects against defects in material and workmanship.

I bought this “Rock Rake”(my words) today.
I used it all day.
It it stiff as a heavy rake,Strong as a heavy rake,And it’s light as a cheap rake.
Needless to say,I love it.

I am a 70 year old woman and I love this rake. My last rake was not welded to the shaft and would come apart several times during a raking project. This rake is well made and looks like it will last a long time. As compared to my “big box” rake: the Bully rake weighs about the same and the handle is about 4″ shorter. At 4’11”, that is not a bad thing for me. Spent the morning yesterday spreading mulch and doing some garden clean up. The rake did what it was supposed to without coming apart every third pull.

This thing is a freaking tank… it won’t break unless you do something stupid. Even then, I’m sure its gonna take it for most part. Use it for what it’s intended and it will last you for a VERY long time

You’ve gotta have one of these if you have a yard. So often you need a firm rake, but very often I use this in my fire pit just for a quick move of some stuff I’m burning. I’m not saying keep it in the fire. That would destroy the parts that connect it to the metal. But it’s so handy to adjust things burning. And of course if you garden at all, you need this essential yard tool. This one is well made and comfortable to use.

I’m a 5”4 woman and I have no problem to using it in my yard. I love the sturdiness that is exactly what I was searching. Overall I looks like a very quality material and a durable item. Very recommended.

Bought this rake 2 years ago and holding up strong for a homeowner. Installed a versalock wall and stone patio approx. 21′ x 21′ used for all the landscaping on this project. Last fall had a new well drilled and line to house was around 60ft. Used to backfill and level prior to planting grass seed. Some heavy clay and pulling out rocks, hasnt bent or come loose from the handle. At times I put a fair amount of stress on this rake and holding up strong. Somewhat heavier than cheap rakes ive used thru the years but wanted a tool that would hold up and last.
Very pleased!

I ordered this rake to evenly spread compost over my garden. I am a 58 year old woman with not a lot of upper body strength, and was a little concerned this might be too heavy to use for more than a few minutes at a time. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how light and well balanced this tool is. I can use it for more than an hour and not break a sweat.

I have used the rake several times and love it. I had a wooden rake that finally broke so I bought this rake for several reasons, main reason 100% American made and for the quality of Bully Tools. The tines on the rake have a great angle and the space between tines is perfect. One review said its really short and feels like a little kid rake, I have no idea what they were talking about this rake is actually 2 inches taller than my old wood rake. The item description also clearly states the height of the rake. Stuff doesn’t get stuck as much as they did with old wooden rake but stuff will still get stuck.
Pros.
100% American made
Bully Tools all their products are great I know have 3 different tools.
Thick steel
Sturdy construction
Great length, great feel
I recommend buying this rake and anything Bully Tools.
Always try to buy American there is more American made stuff than people think and is better quality.

I work construction and have had to use many tools in trade. I have broken many of the lower grade brands and learned quickly that all tools are an investment. Whether you make your living with them like I do or you are a homeowner, you will save time and money by purchasing the best first. My first and last rake I’ll ever buy, and here is why..
Build: Triple layered fiberglass handle with a wooden core should speak volumes on this company’s goal of quality. If not then the 14 gauge steel should do the trick. I honestly RARELY need a bow rake, but I have used, abused and now trust all the shovels and other tools this company makes, so I purchased this rake due to the new standard of quality they have shown me.
Ergonomics: No splinters. Period. Plus the rubber grip is enough to push and pull one handed, and reduce blisters. As with any garden tools regardless, wear gloves to prevent wear and tears and blistering pustules if you are going to be working long hours.
Overall: Highly recommend this rake as well as this brand of tools. Also, as well as any tools, I take care not to leave them outside since the rain/sun/snow is not friendly to fiberglass OR wooden handled tools.
Remember: American Made = Americans Paid

I bought this rake initially to spread and level gravel on my driveway. It did the job well. Since then I’ve used it to spread a lot of topsoil and it makes quick work of that task. Absolutely no complaints here; it is strong and durable. I imagine this is the last rake of this type that I’ll ever need.

First, this is a solid, well built rake, not a light weight gardening tool I often see in hardware or home improvement stores. I purchased this rake from Amazon and when it arrived, the top rubber part was missing. Still usable, of course, but not completely what I expected. Rather than contact Amazon and send the large bulky item back for a replacement, I contacted Bully Tools directly to see if I could get a replacement part. The company contacted me within 10 minutes and let me know they would be sending out a replacement part the next day. That is what I call great service and I couldn’t be happier.

You can tell just by holding this rake that it’s a fine tool that is built for the long run. I live in Arizona where the soil is hard and rocky and it would be easy for a rake to come apart. This rake feels both solid/heavy duty in my hands, and the head seems VERY securely connected to the stem of the rake. Very very satisfied!!

I bought this after seeing the video on Amazon of them pulling a truck with it. I have very rocky soil and this thing is lightweight and solid!
